This is a reconstruction of the 1983 theatrical version of Return of the Jedi.

The main source is the 2019 UHD Blu-Ray and the original shots were restored using the amazing 4K83 fan-preservation,
which is a scan of a 35mm film made by Team Negative 1. Thanks so much for this awesome release, Team Negative 1!

Sometimes entire shots or even sequences, were used from 4K83, extensively cleaned and enhanced to match the look of the UHD Blu-Ray.
In other places, like for example the Ewok eyes or Vader's eyebrows, only small portions of the shots were replaced.

All original shots were restored, including recomposited vfx and other "fixes" made for the Special Edition.

The MKV version contains a large number of audio tracks, including the latest versions of the preservations
of the original audio mixes in DTS-HD MA, three different commentary tracks, an isolated score and dubbing
tracks in many different languages.
